Hey @ringw! I work for an Austrian company called PhonicScore and we possibly might have some resources to improve on this project from late fall/winter this year on. Our plans especially include

• full musicxml support (page layout, mxl, lyrics, titles etc.),
• "live rendering" e.g. a moving cursor,
• position on screen to position in sheet mapping.

So basically just stuff you already started to implement. Would you generally be interested in accepting PRs on those issues?

Sorry for the late reply! I'm only really planning to do some basic cleanup to this project, but I would welcome any additional features that you want to contribute.

I' working with @sebastianhaas on the mxl support. We are definitely looking for help with this. What about a skype call to bring you up to where we stand right now? (my nick is bukaznik)
