🛠️ Need Help: Adding Support for a TuYa/HOBEIAN Scene Switch (TS0044) & Disabling Double-Click Delay

I'm working on getting a new four-button scene switch fully functional and responsive in Zigbee2MQTT (running on Home Assistant).

I believe the current default behavior is waiting for a potential double-click before sending the "single" press action, which causes an unacceptable delay. My goal is to get it to send the action immediately on a single button press (short-press/down).

1. *** how to compile firmware **
2. OTA Firmware Guidance: If a firmware update exists that resolves this behavior, or if I need to update the device for compatibility, could you please guide me on the precise steps to perform an OTA firmware update for this specific device model within my Zigbee2MQTT installation?

I tried following some guides to create a converter myself but wasn't successful. Any insights or working examples would be hugely appreciated!

Hi @RemiG0! Thanks for your interest in the project.
We currently support mains-powered switches (100-240V).

Battery-powered devices (wireless switches and remotes) are very often requested, but still work-in-progress.
I will let you know when a build is available for testing.

I don't recommend building and flashing yet.
It will drain the battery very fast and you can't restore the original firmware.

The pinout is traced with a multimeter?

Yes,, i disassembled the devicee and tested the connections to determine where the buttons are connected to the main chip
I still need to check the connections for the LEDs.
