Is there a way to use the exchange API’s to give a fiat conversion price of the wallet balance, as well as send/receive amounts?

Is certainly possible and is on the internal roadmap for Atom. Will be a nice feature and enable other things like charts of your portfolio amount over time, etc. Will leave open until implemented.
