If someone compiles the code in this repo, do they get the "Pro" features? Or are they not included here? If all the features are in this repo, how does that work with the "Pro" license and activation? Do you still need to buy a license even if you compile it yourself? |

Update (July 2026): the answer is now simply yes — to everything. SaneBar is completely free and open source under the MIT License. Every Pro feature is in this repo and unlocked for everyone in the shipped app too (v2.1.88+). No license, no activation, no trial — whether you compile it yourself or download it.
