Welcome to the SANFS Core developer community.

SANFS stands for Sovereign Autonomous Network & File System.

This is an early-stage infrastructure project exploring sovereign, resilient, human-governed systems for the autonomous era.

The goal is to think seriously about how distributed storage, autonomous networking, protected data, resilient recovery, and human-governed control layers can become part of future critical infrastructure.

This is not a generic app project.

We are interested in builders, researchers, systems engineers, infrastructure architects, security people, and long-term technical thinkers who care about:

• distributed systems
• file systems
• networking protocols
• resilient infrastructure
• confidential and protected data
• edge and cloud architecture
• cybersecurity
• autonomous systems
• human-governed AI infrastructure

Good starting points for discussion:

• What should a sovereign autonomous file system guarantee?
• What failure modes should SANFS assume from day one?
• How should human authority be represented technically?
• What can be learned from IPFS, Ceph, Tahoe-LAFS, libp2p, Kubernetes, and sovereign cloud architectures?
• Which parts should be open, modular, verifiable, or independently deployable?
• What would make this project technically credible for serious infrastructure developers?
