  • The Mapper.CreateMap method is not thread safe, so calling it from different threads can result in exceptions under load, e.g. when using AutoMapper to map database entities to DTOs in a Web Service which is called by multiple Web Service clients simultaneously. As such, I don't think that the wording is strong enough.
