If you're subscribed to a channel, ads never arrive there in the first place, so there is no reason for VAFT to run its whole playlist handling on it.
As of 2.2.1 it checks once at stream start and, if you're subscribed, stays out of the way for that visit -- no backup lane, no ledger, no rewriting.
I've run it for about an hour without seeing a problem.
What I haven't tested is how Twitch reports the less usual cases -- Prime, gifted subs, Turbo -- so I don't know yet whether it detects all of them, or whether it ever gets one wrong.
It's built to fail safe: anything it can't determine leaves VAFT fully armed, and if an ad shows up anyway it re-arms itself. But if it turns out to cause trouble, it comes out again.
You can turn it off with Config.DetectSubscription if you'd rather not have it.
Feedback welcome, especially from anyone on Prime or a gifted sub.
Cheers!
