Show angle and dihedral timelines/distributions in degrees

Hi,

Thanks for this great visualization software.

It would be very helpful for the analysis of Timelines and Distributions of dihedrals and angles if these values were shown in degrees instead of radians, to be consistent with what one sees when measuring them directly in the viewer.

At the moment, the measured dihedral or angle is displayed in degrees, while the Timeline and Distribution plots show the same quantity in radians. This makes it a bit difficult to perform a consistent analysis between what is shown in the viewer and what is shown in the timeline or distribution plots.

Thanks for creating this issue, it is as we discussed something we had planned for a long time. The discussion I would line to have here before implementing anything is at what granularity it should be exposed? Globally? Per plot? Per subplot?

My feeling is that, since the viewer already shows angles and dihedrals in degrees, which is probably the most convenient representation for the end user, the Timeline and Distribution plots should also use degrees by default.

So in that sense, I would lean towards a global setting, so that the values shown in the viewer, plots, and subplots are consistent with each other.

Hej guys. Indeed we talked about it already.
We discussed maybe that we should have some general settings for units. Like that we could also use imperial units.🤪
