Transcript Studio demo is intentionally not connected

Status

The Transcript Studio UI is implemented as a local demo only.

It intentionally does not connect to:

• a YouTube transcript provider
• an AI/LLM API
• a backend or Supabase Edge Function
• the YouTube player or downloadable video processing

The demo uses fixture transcript segments and deterministic local functions to show the intended flow:

1. Paste a YouTube URL.
2. Ask for a moment, such as “Find the part about AI and startup ideas.”
3. Receive a summary and timestamp range.
4. Preview the selected segment locally and copy the future-ready timestamp URL shape.

This separation is deliberate so the interaction can be shown in a demo video before transcript-provider, AI, YouTube-policy, and production-cost decisions are finalized.
