Generate plot of data with fitted spectra on top

Is there a way to produce a figure that looks like the fitted plot that we get as a result of qfit? I.e., the pcolormesh plot with the transition energy lines on top, just like how it looks in the GUI? Perhaps there is a way to do this already with scQubits and I might just not be familiar enough with the package.

There isn't a button / public method to export the current plot yet, and this could be a nice add-on to the qfit in the next release!

For the moment, you can access the plot through internal attributes. Assuming fit is your qfit.Fit object, then fit._canvas.canvas.figure gives the matplotlib.figure.Figure object for the current plot that you can edit and configure. And the following line of code helps to save the current plot.

fit._canvas.canvas.figure.savefig("test.png")

By the way, to plot the transition energies only and customize the plot, you can create a ParameterSweep object in scqubits (let us call it sweep), and then call sweep.plot_transition().
