This is an application for Secret Network Grant Program: Privacy-as-a-Service
We intend to create the first privacy-preserving, USSD-accessible chain-agnostic wallet on Secret Network. Using Secret Contracts, users can execute confidential transactions via any phone (*123# - no smartphone required) while protecting sensitive data from MEV and surveillance.
Our team won CosmosHub Africa HackAtom and received 2 Cosmos AEZ grants. We have a working prototype on Neutron and are excited to bring Secret Network's privacy features to 4.2 billion feature phone users globally.
Problem / Solution
Problem: 4.2 billion people use feature phones and cannot access crypto (99% of wallets require smartphones costing $50-100 + $10-30/month data). Meanwhile, existing transparent blockchains expose transaction data to MEV exploiters and intermediaries, putting vulnerable users at risk. In emerging markets, 1.7B adults remain unbanked, losing $40-68B annually on remittance fees (5-8%).
Solution: Beep uses Secret Network's Privacy-as-a-Service to enable USSD wallet access (*123#) with encrypted transaction data. Secret Contracts protect amounts, recipients, and balances while preventing front-running. Smart contracts protect private assets and complete transactions in 10 seconds on any phone—no data required. This brings programmable privacy to mass markets.

Private Wallet Contract (CosmWasm): Manages encrypted user accounts, balances, and transaction history—PIN-based authentication with key sharding across validators (non-custodial). Phone-to-address mapping encrypted in contract state.

Private Intent Contract: Processes confidential transaction requests inside TEE. Users submit encrypted intents; contract emits anonymized summaries for agent matching. Sealed-bid system prevents agents from viewing user data. Batching and randomization disconnect the user identity from settlements.
