Hi sebkopf,

I tried to install the package as described in the readme. Unfortunately this did not work due to an error that was unclear to me at first.

The problem is:

install_github('sebkopf/isotopia', build_vignettes = TRUE)

doesn't exist anymore. Maybe you can update the Readme file:

devtools::install_github("isoverse/isotopia")

Thank you for your great work! The program helped me a lot in reading .did files in my master thesis 2018!

Hi @8sawte8 , do you mean isotopia or isoread? isoread is deprecated in favour of the newer implementation now available on CRAN, please take a look at https://isoreader.isoverse.org/

I meant "isoread". I know that there is "isoreader". But I have some programs that use "isoread" and work with commands that are not available in isoreader. Since I don't use these programs very often, I haven't rewritten them yet. So I was very happy that I could still install "isoread" after I reinstalled my Linux - a Conda environment is unfortunately not so super handy with R in my experience; but will do that for this in the long run.

But isoread needs "isotopia" and in the ReadMe of "isoread" was still the old installation path for "isotopia". My intention was that it would be good to adapt "sebkopf/isotopia" to "isoverse/isotopia" in the installation instructions.

Ah got it. If there's missing functionality in isoreader, please feel free to file a feature request at github.com/isoverse/isoreader - we'd hope to make the move from isoread to isoreader possible for everyone
