Current Behavior

I deleted the chat between a friend and I (Side note: it should be clear if it also deletes it on your friends side, or only locally), and then we set up our delete-timers etc, and i tried to start a new conversation.

Firstly, when i was typing, it would keep closing the conversation. As in, I would have my contacts on the left, my message I'm composing in the main area, i'd type a few words and it would just close the message (returning to the default state with my contacts on the left and the right containing no message, just the session logo), this happened a few times, each time i went back to create the message it had retained my text, and eventually stopped on its own.

This is a smaller after-issue but when I created a new message and pressed enter, the chat disappeared. It did go into my active conversations so it wasn't really a big problem but I feel like that is odd behaviour. At first it appeared as if i lost my message, so I had to go to to my active chats to go to the message I'd just pressed enter on.

Expected Behavior

Obviously for the first issue, it should just not keep closing the chat.

For the second smaller issue, after pressing enter on a brand new message initiating a new conversation from the "contacts" screen, it should just automatically take you to the message in the active chats screen rather than the user needing to click send, then navigate back to the message they just sent.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Deleted chat
  2. went to contacts
  3. composed new message

Nothing particularly special.
