  <p><b>simon griffioen</b> is a researcher and lecturer in architecture at
    <a class="website-link" href="https://dbt.arch.ethz.ch/" target="_blank">Digital Building Technologies</a>, ETH
    Zurich.
    Since 2023, he is a lead tutor and coordinator at ETH Zurich, teaching and researching
    changes in
    architectural design and production that result from introducing robotic manufacturing techniques.
    He graduated from Delft University of Technology in 2018. Simon continued his studies at ETH Zurich and received
    his MAS ETH in <a class="website-link" href="https://www.masdfab.com/" target="_blank">Digital Fabrication</a>
    in 2021. His work revolves around the intersection of architecture,
    digital fabrication, and machine intelligence. With a
    background in both architecture and data science, he has a particular interest in combining data and materials.
