The current name will be highlighted using the standard CursorLine highlight group. No idea how it looks like on colorful terminals. On my monochrome one it just underlines :)

Reopening because cursorline affects highlighting performance (as well as cursorbind has shown its undesired side-effects). It's not clear how to highlight a line without cursorline in vim.

It worth a try to make highlighting (#4) buffer/window local (:ownsyntax) and than see how cursorline will affect performance being enabled in the other window.
