If it's not too much trouble, could you explain why you're against adding images? I encountered this and had to resort to hacks to add images. I don't want to convert Excel to PowerPoint, but when creating a spreadsheet, the company that created it often wants to insert their logo. The library is fantastic, but I struggled with inserting a logo for a long time.
