Mobile Notification Delay / Push Notification Inactive Time-out not working

• I have searched open and closed issues for duplicates.
• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

I raised a feature request for this however another user says this is existing functionality, but it just doesn't work for me. Despite using my mouse and keyboard constantly on my desktop, there is never any delay to push notifications on mobile and they instead occur instantly. My initial thought is that this may be a Wayland issue but I'm unable to confirm this.

Steps to reproduce

1. Use mouse and keyboard whilst Signal remains closed to tray

Expected result

There should be a delay (ideally configurable, but at least 1 minute if not 5 I'd hope) if the user is active on the desktop where they almost certainly will have already seen a desktop notification for the new messages.

Actual result

Push notifications occur instantly to mobile.

@Victor239 currently other device on your account rely on read syncs to determine device activity and manage notification; we don't have a separate mechanism to notify based on app interactions when the message is not actually read on Desktop. I'll make sure our product team sees this request. Thanks!
