Describe the bug
After making some adjustment with Preview, initiating a scan with my HP printer fails "due to an unknown error".
To Reproduce
- Click "Preview" button
- Wait for scanner
- Click "Select scan region" button
- Click and drag preview image by moving the mouse to the lower right, and release mouse
- This should shift the scan region to the top left of the preview image
- Click "Apply selection" button
- Click "Scan"
- Wait 30 seconds for the folder dialog box to appear, and then select save location (I chose "Ask every time" when it comes to the save location)
- Observe the error in the lower left corner
Expected behavior
It should either
- Not allow the scan region to shift out of bounds, or
- Allow the scan to happen
