Feature Request: make it compulsory to select something when displaying BelongsTo select list

I'm missing the possibility to require the user to choose something from the BelongsTo select list. I know it is possible to set 'null' to FALSE when defining the field and this would mean something is selected anyway, but this way something can be selected unintentionally.
