possible new feature: Ability for users to join more than one group

Would it be possible to add a setting that allows for users to join 1 or more groups? perhaps allowing the editor to define how many of the groups a user can join? This would be useful to us as we use groups as 'special interest' groups so adding the ability for users to enrol themselves in one or more groups would be great!

Hmm, yes, it would require new setting "max groups per user". I will think more about this. Thanks for the idea.
