Hi! I created a new climate code file for a Samsung air conditioner that wasn't supported.
Device details:
Model: Samsung AQV09PSBTNXAZ
Remote control: DB63-02818A
Controller: Broadlink RM4 Pro
Encoding: Base64
Supported features:
Operation modes: cool, heat, auto, dry, fan_only
Fan modes: Auto, Low, Mid, High
Temperature range: 16°C – 30°C
Swing: Not included (toggle-only, handled separately)
Notes:
All codes were learned directly from the original remote using the learn-broadlink script
The remote DB63-02818A is also compatible with other Samsung AQV series models (AQV09, AQV12, AQV18), so this file may work for those as well
Dry mode minimum temperature is 18°C; codes for 16°C and 17°C are mapped to 18°C
Fan_only mode ignores temperature; the same code is used across all temperatures for each fan speed
Auto mode has fixed fan speed; the same code is replicated across all fan modes
Suggested file number: 1409.json
Attached is the JSON file ready to be placed in codes/climate/.
1409.json
