Monthly Championship

The current leaderboard on mjai.app is not very stable. This problem is caused by the randomness of the game matching. To make the ladder more reliable, we are working on a "monthly championship" in addition to the existing weekly batch.

The monthly championship will have multiple round-robin matches between the top 8 players. This will eliminate the randomness of the match and determine the truly strongest player. 3 ~ 5 cloud computing instances will be set up for this. It would be interesting to have a feature to check the winning percentage against other players. Any interesting ideas are welcome. Thanks a lot!

Naming

Looking for a better website name for mjai.app. Good ideas are welcome. :-)

We would like to be able to participate in the competition by registering the entry point URL of API that communicate with the mjai protocol without having to include the model weight file in the submission file. This idea is in the backlog, although the priority is low due to many issues such as security, error handling and documentation.
This breaks the fairness of computing resources and may be rejected.
