Description of the bug

Previous to 6.0, opening files on a M4 Mac Mini was quick. With 6.0(.1) opening files takes a while (3-4 minutes). A relatively well specced PC I have opens the same files in less than a minute.

You mean open a file from startup or even if you reload the file with already UVtools open?

Great question! From startup for sure, I'll test a reload and reply again.

Reload is also very slow.

Under logs tab it register the time it takes to load the file, can you copy/screenshot that timer from each of the versions and post here?

On mac go to UVtools setting and post here the print screen of it

The problem is in LZ4 with Optimal.
Choose LZ4 with Fast or Brotli with Optimal.

I recommend Brotli with Optimal for best compromise

Did it fix?
Also check release notes for v6.0.0. It have the benchmark for each combo. Which may vary with your machine (Also possible to benchmark)
