Contributor License Agreement (CLA)

Thank you for your interest in contributing to YourFinanceWORKS! To protect the project and its contributors, we require all contributors to agree to this Contributor License Agreement.

1. Definitions

"You" (or "Your") shall mean the copyright owner or legal entity authorized by the copyright owner that is making this Agreement with the Project.

"Contribution" shall mean any source code, documentation, or other material submitted by You for inclusion in the Project.

2. License Grant

2.1 Copyright License

You hereby grant to the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute Your Contributions and such derivative works.

2.2 Patent License

You hereby grant to the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work.

3. Ownership

You represent that You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses. If Your employer(s) has rights to intellectual property that You create that includes Your Contributions, You represent that You have received permission to make Contributions on behalf of that employer.

Except for the licenses granted herein, You reserve all right, title, and interest in and to Your Contributions.

4. Dual Licensing

You acknowledge and agree that the Project is dual-licensed under:

  1. GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0)
  2. Commercial License

You agree that the Project may distribute Your Contributions under either or both of these licenses, or any other licenses chosen by the Project maintainers in the future, provided that the open-source nature of the project (under a copyleft license like AGPL) is preserved for the community version.

5. Acceptable Contributions

You agree that Your Contributions are Your original work and do not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.


By submitting a Pull Request to this repository, you agree to the terms of this Contributor License Agreement.
