How does Sonm transfer data in between clusters and clients?

I was not able to find any documentation related what technology/application does Sonm uses to share data in between cluster and client on its latest version.

On Sonm's white paper it is mentioned that:

, SONM is a top layer of underlying P2P technologies – BTSync for data transfer,

=> Does Sonm uses BTSync for data transfer in between clusters and clients or is there any other alternative that it uses as well?

I would appreciated if you could clarify that how does Sonm transfer data?
