Hi, I'm Claudiu — a human being from planet earth, an open source enthusiast, and someone who enjoys making everyday computing a little more capable, calm, and enjoyable.

I build practical software for Linux and care deeply about tools that respect their users: software that is transparent, privacy-minded, reliable, and pleasant to use. My goal is not to build for one single setup, but to create useful open source tools that can find a home across distributions and desktops.

What I build

My projects currently include:

• Nemo Action Bar — a configurable power bar that brings useful native actions directly into the file manager.
• Active Window Highlight — a clear, toolkit-independent focus indicator for desktop windows.
• Adaptive System Monitor — compact and flexible system monitoring for the Linux desktop.

These projects may look different on the surface, but they share the same spirit: solving real problems with thoughtful details, clear interfaces, and software that stays out of the user's way.
