Building Open Tools for Construction & Engineering

I’m building open-source software focused on construction, VDC, and technical workflow automation.

The construction industry relies heavily on legacy, closed, and architect-first systems. My goal is to explore what modern, construction-centric tooling could look like:

  • Open-source modeling engines
  • Trade-aware coordination tools
  • IFC-first workflows
  • Transparent architecture
  • Cross-platform performance

Current focus: Open Construction Modeler (OCM), a Rust-based modeling and coordination engine built specifically for construction professionals.
