I'm Ivan Yanev, a solo developer from Bulgaria.
I build QuickImageViewer (qIV) — a fast, portable image viewer for Windows, written from scratch in C++ on Direct2D and native Win32, with no UI framework underneath it. One executable under 10 MB, no installer, no advertising, no telemetry, nothing collected. It opens 17+ formats including HEIC, AVIF, JPEG XL, SVG, OpenEXR and Radiance HDR, and keeps neighbouring images pre-decoded in GPU memory so switching between them is instant.
It also does something most viewers don't: one copy can drive others over your network, which makes it genuinely useful for signage, kiosks and multi-monitor setups. An Android remote for it is on the way.
Everything is free and open source under AGPLv3, and it stays that way. Support here goes directly into the time it takes to keep it maintained and moving.
