Loki4j - Logback appender for Grafana Loki
I'm the sole maintainer of Loki4j, a fast, zero-dependency Logback appender that ships logs from Java applications to Grafana Loki and Grafana Cloud.
If your JVM services send logs to Loki, there's a good chance this library is already in your dependency tree.
What your sponsorship funds
Loki4j is stable and feature-complete - which is not the same as finished. Keeping it that way means:
- Compatibility with new Grafana Loki releases
- Security patches and dependency updates
- Bug fixes and issue triage for teams running it in production
- Keeping the documentation accurate
This work never stops, and is currently done by one person on evenings and weekends.
Why companies sponsor
Sponsoring Loki4j is insurance on a dependency you already ship to production. It keeps the project responsive when Loki introduces a breaking change, and it lowers the risk that a library sitting in your logging path quietly goes unmaintained.
Company sponsors get their logo and link in the README.md and on the documentation site, in front of every developer who sets up Loki4j.
