Selected Filament is always ABS temps

When I insert filament into the filament sensor I am prompted to choose the filament. When I choose the filament (ASA or PETG) it proceeds but only with ABS nozzle temperatures. Weirdly, the bed temperatures update correctly. I did have to modify the flap_temp_control.cfg in order to get the load/unload buttons to work as recommended in another issues post.

I've been poking around trying to get this to work, and when I insert filament, after choosing the prompt it correctly reports the filament I have chose in the console with (Index 1) appended at the end. But if I press the load filament button, it says ABS (Index 0). When unloading, it always says ABS (Index 0). Is the wrong index number being referenced by the macro? I'm a bit out of my depth at this point.

Also, the load button on klipper screen does not prompt me for the type of material if there is already material in the filament sensor, it just loads ABS (Index 0) immediately.
