Extension to AssetProperties

Any reason for not having this extension available at the asset level?

That would be useful in case of additional assets such as the trajectography in ALS, the acquisition pattern (sensor location + angle grid) for terrestrial lidar, a quicklook image, an associated DTM, etc. In those cases, the point cloud metadata would be better suited at the asset level rather than the item, like for the raster extension, at least to identify clearly the point cloud asset among others (although media type could be a workaround for that purpose), wouldn't it?

Yeah, this is currently what I use to determine which asset is a point cloud.
I'm all for tying it into the asset though, makes sense to me 👍🏻
