Currently we (will have) functionality for testing a global/strong null with family = "multinomial", and a specific weaker null (all coefficients corresponding to a specific taxon equal zero), but we don't have a generic test. We don't currently have a need for it (within the StatDivLab), so I open this issue so that anyone who needs such a thing can request it.
