Parsing of reply emails from iOS Mail is wonky

Replies to Offbott update emails from iOS's Mail app include some of the replied text.

eg, If I replied with "This is my update." it would appear as something like:

I think it's only from iOS's Mail app. iOS 7, maybe 6 too.

I think this is also now happening when responding to OffBot emails using the OS X Mail app in Yosemite:
