In our paper, we introduce two key concepts: GMP (Gaussian Mixture Proposal) and PPS (Pull-Push Scheme).

GMP is designed to model query-relevant temporal locations using a Gaussian mixture.

PPS is a learning scheme that enhances the effectiveness of GMP.

While both are important, the model is named after PPS because it plays a crucial role in training GMP effectively, as demonstrated in our experiments. PPS significantly boosts the overall performance and stability of the model.
