Some drives supporting 0xF1 get stuck when requesting 64kb

I think superg knows about this issue, so just to document and not forget.

Some mediatek chipsets used in dvd drives can only request 64kb-1byte. (MT1839LZN in my case)
So this 1byte extra makes the drive stuck.

Drive I found with this behavior is hp DS8A5LH with firmware 1H68. (Super popular in HP laptops from 2011)

MoriGM said that also GH24NS95 has the same behavior.

Have you confirmed that it doesn't work on both Windows and Linux?
It might be platform dependent.
