Redump Staff want Dumpers to slow down and be methodical in their submissions. To aid in this philosophy, we should modify the Add Disc form so that it's dynamic, helps educate new Dumpers, and helps ward against common mistakes.
For example, we could integrate the Ring Code Guide into the Add Disc form as shown in this mockup which I created:
These dynamic pop-ups in the Add Disc form could explain each form element and what is generally expected in it, and could educate people about common errors. I believe this will help mitigate mistakes.
We could also have the Add Disc form flag any apparently-silly mistakes upon submission (like IFPI not having four numbers/letters after it for the Mastering/Mould SIDs), and then make Dumpers confirm that values are correct before the form submits. These failsafes would reduce the burden for Redump Staff as common mistakes could get caught and rectified proactively by the form. For example:
Etc. I'd be willing to submit a PR to add this feature down the line, if/when Redump Staff find it to be prudent.
