Pika looks really nice, but for my workflows, the window is taking up screen real estate and opening/closing the window is kind of fiddly.
I'd prefer the color picker behaves more like a macOS-native menu bar app—a temporary popover attached to the menu bar icon, that disappears when I click away.
This UX change is particularly helpful when using the proposed color history (#177) and custom color palettes (#178) which require frequent access.
I have an implementation ready that I'll submit as a PR.
