ru-text is a Russian text quality reference for AI coding agents. It consists of static Markdown files that your agent reads locally. There is no server, no account, and no fee.
ru-text is released under the MIT Licence. The full text is in LICENSE and it governs your right to use, copy, modify and redistribute this work. These terms do not narrow the licence; where the two differ, the licence controls.
ru-text is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It is a set of editorial rules, not a guarantee of correctness. Its rules are defaults, and a rule can be wrong for your text: an explicit instruction from you overrides any of them. You are responsible for what you publish.
Nothing leaves your machine. ru-text collects, stores and transmits no data whatsoever — see the Privacy Policy for the full statement.
ru-text reports findings and proposes replacements. It does not rewrite a file unless you ask your agent to apply the changes, and quoted material, code and third-party text inside your document are reproduced as they are.
The rules in this repository are independently formulated. Sources that shaped modern
Russian text standards are credited in
references/sources.md; crediting a source is not
a claim that its author endorses this work. Facts and methods are not subject to copyright
(Article 1259(5) of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation; 17 U.S.C. §102(b)).
These terms may change as the project does. The date above marks the current version, and the history of every change is public in the repository.
