We have strict defined milestones when we do testing. Our test planning is based on releases that is defined by this milestones. We want to use milestone paradigm for testing too. Namely, create a milestone in testomat, add tests and test plans for execution for this milestone, execute tests by milestones and have reports for milestone. So that we will have complete test management by milestones.

1. create a milestone that need to be tested
2. milestone should have 1) meta information (status (created, active, closed), goal, description, start date, release date, url to some issue tracking system), tests or suites to be executed, assigned team or team members for execution, progress and statistics, reports, analytics, timeline
3. there should be UI to add tests, suites or test plans as scope of milestone testing (planning stage)
4. there should be a way select existing tests or test suites and assign to some milestone from test design UI
5. there should be a filter by milestone on test design view to see all created or assigned tests to milestone
6. all insertion, edits, deletion, execution, or any other items actions should be outlines in milestone timeline to trace a progress
7. team or team members should be assigned to execute tests once tests selected
8. assignment to tests should be done or 1) manually one by one 2) manually bulk assignments 2) by automated strategies (randomly equally or randomly by portions in %)
9. assigned persons may create test runs from assigned tests
10. there should be a way to create a test plan and assign it to milestone from test plan list view
11. there should be a filter by milestone in test plan view
    12.there should be a filter by milestone in test runs view
12. there should be a way to track overall progress of milestone testing by tests, assigned persons, statuses, defects
