Adjacent but separate xrefs abound! #22

Description

@DavidHaslam

I have observed that there are 2014 instances of the pattern \x*\x +
i.e. Locations where there are adjacent but separate xrefs.
btw. Only 55 of these match the pattern \x*\x + \xt

At first sight, it might be thought useful to consider joining each pair into a single xref.

However, not all instances are unequivocally suitable for joining.
Here is a counter example, in 1 Samuel 25:2 which reads:
\v 2 Kwakukhona-ke indoda eMahoni\x + Josh. 15.55.\x*\x + 23.24.\x*, lomsebenzi wayo wawuseKharmeli\x + Josh. 15.55.\x*; lindoda-ke yayiyisikhulu esikhulu, yayilezimvu eziyizinkulungwane ezintathu lembuzi eziyinkulungwane, yayigunda izimvu zayo eKharmeli.

The second reference in \x + Josh. 15.55.\x*\x + 23.24.\x* may be an implicit reference to 1 Samuel 23:24 and not to Joshua 23:24.

For this reason, each similar pair must be considered in its own context.
i.e. Where the second xref begins with a reference without a book abbreviation.
730 of the observed adjacent pairs are like this. Search for regexp \\x\*\\x \+ \d+\.
Even so, some these are still candidates for joining.
Example: \x + 2.32.\x*\x + 20.23-26.\x*
