Saving from the Manufacture workspace prevents text from updating version

Describe the bug
When you save from the Design workspace, text is updated to the new version.
When you save from the Manufacture workspace, text is not updated and does not update upon return to Design, either.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create some parametric text (one or more objects) including {_.version}
2. Save one or more times from the Design workspace and note the updates to the text version number
3. Go into the manufacture workspace
4. Make one or more changes
5. Save from the manufacture workspace

Expected behavior
I would expect the text to update upon save regardless of the workspace where the save occurred. However, this may be an Autodesk limitation on what AddIns can do and what notifications they can receive.

However, at the very least, I would expect the add-in to run a callback and update the text upon return to the design workspace.

Hi,

I tried enabling setting sketch texts in the Manufacture workspace, but it results in errors from Fusion [1] (RuntimeError: 2 : InternalValidationError : res).

So then the question becomes, what should happen?

Your suggestion is that the texts should be updated when returning to the Design workspace. It does sound like a good solution, but there's one caveat: As soon as the user returns the design workspace, the design will be modified by ParametricText and the document will be in a modified state. So then the user has to save again, and the version will tick up one more step. If the user does not save, the version text will be the version stored before entering the manufacturing workspace, which does not match the saved version.

The alternative I see is that it works like today. The user will have to save again when entering Design. The problem is that it is not possible to save if the document is not modified. So maybe the first alternative is the best. 🤔

Would this be an acceptable workflow? Then I can see if I can make the add-in trigger on after workspace change.
