It is not possible to truncate content in blog posts within the "rich-text"-field / editor.

It seems that truncating text within the rich text editor for MDX files is not possible.

Is there any workaround for this?

Adding <!-- truncate --> as text helps to some extent, but it leaves a \ visible in the frontend.

Frontend:

A dedicated button in the rich text editor toolbar to set a truncation would be desirable.

I’m experiencing the same issue.

In Docusaurus, the markers <!-- truncate --> or {/* truncate */} are valid syntax in article bodies to define the excerpt boundary for list views. However, Tina’s Rich Text Editor throws a parse error when it encounters these markers. Tina is so convinient for me and love it, but this makes it unusable for integration with Docusaurus.
