<strong>You have 30 days from receipt to return unworn, unaltered caps for a full refund.</strong> Return shipping is free using our prepaid label. Once verified, refunds process within 5-7 business days.

<h2>1. Returns Window</h2>
<p>You may initiate a return within <strong>30 days of receipt</strong> of your order. The return must be requested within this window; items received after this period may not be refundable.</p>
<p>We determine the receipt date based on the carrier's delivery confirmation, not the date you ordered.</p>
<h2>2. Condition Requirements</h2>
<p>To qualify for a full refund, items must:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Be unworn:</strong> No visible wear, stains, odours, or signs of use</li>
<li><strong>Be unaltered:</strong> Tags intact, embroidery undamaged, no modifications</li>
<li><strong>Be in original packaging:</strong> Original box, bag, or packaging materials</li>
<li><strong>Include all components:</strong> Original snapback strap, any documentation</li>
</ul>
<p>Items showing obvious signs of wear will be rejected and shipped back to you at your cost.</p>
<h2>3. Non-Returnable Items</h2>
<p>The following items cannot be returned:</p>
<ul>
<li>Custom embroidered or personalised caps</li>
<li>Clearance or final sale items (marked as such at checkout)</li>
<li>Items damaged due to misuse, accident, or care instructions not followed</li>
</ul>
<p>Sale/discounted items are still returnable under standard conditions.</p>
<h2>4. How to Initiate a Return</h2>
<p><strong>Step 1:</strong> Email returns@megacaps.co.uk with:</p>
<ul>
<li>Your order number</li>
<li>Item(s) being returned</li>
<li>Reason for return</li>
<li>Photo of the item (if possible)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Step 2:</strong> We'll review your request and respond within 24 hours with a return authorisation number (RAN) and prepaid Royal Mail returns label.</p>
<p><strong>Step 3:</strong> Pack the item securely with the label and drop it at any Royal Mail post office. Keep your receipt for tracking.</p>
<h2>5. Return Shipping</h2>
<p>All approved returns include a <strong>free prepaid Royal Mail label</strong>. You pay nothing for return shipping.</p>
<p>Returns must be posted within <strong>14 days of receiving your label</strong>. Items posted after this period may not be accepted.</p>
<p><strong>Shipping Address:</strong> We'll provide the return address on your label. Do not return items to any other address.</p>
<h2>6. Refund Processing</h2>
<p><strong>Timeline:</strong></p>

<li>We receive your return: 5-10 business days (Royal Mail)</li>
<li>We inspect and verify the item: 2-3 business days</li>
<li>Refund initiates: within 5-7 business days</li>
<li>Refund reaches your account: 3-5 business days (depending on your bank)</li>

<p><strong>In total, allow 2-3 weeks from dropping off your return to seeing the refund in your account.</strong></p>
<h2>7. What Gets Refunded</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>Full Price:</strong> The amount you paid for the item</li>
<li><strong>Shipping (if included):</strong> Original shipping costs are refunded</li>
<li><strong>NOT included:</strong> Return shipping costs (covered by us via prepaid label)</li>
</ul>
<p>Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Refund amounts will be minus any applicable discount codes applied at purchase (you'll receive the full order price).</p>
<h2>8. Exchanges</h2>
<p>Instead of returning for a refund, you can exchange for a different size or colour at no additional cost (within 30 days, same conditions apply).</p>
<p>To arrange an exchange, email returns@megacaps.co.uk. Send the item back using the prepaid label we provide, and we'll ship your replacement item at no charge.</p>
<h2>9. Defects & Damage</h2>
<p>If you receive an item with a manufacturing defect or damage from shipping:</p>
<ul>
<li>Contact us within 7 days with photos</li>
<li>We'll assess and arrange a replacement or refund immediately</li>
<li>Return shipping is still covered by us</li>
</ul>
<p>These returns are expedited and don't follow the standard 30-day window.</p>
<h2>10. Wrong Item or Size</h2>
<p>If we sent you the wrong item or size:</p>
<ul>

<li>We'll send a replacement or refund right away</li>
<li>Return shipping is free</li>
<li>No questions asked</li>

<h2>11. Change of Mind / Fit Issues</h2>
<p>If a cap simply doesn't fit after you've adjusted the snapback:</p>
<ul>
<li>Return it within 30 days in unworn condition</li>
<li>We'll issue a full refund or exchange for a different size</li>
<li>Same free return shipping applies</li>
</ul>
<p>We've designed our caps for a wide range of head sizes (54-62 cm), but we understand fit can be subjective.</p>
<h2>12. Refused/Unclaimed Packages</h2>
<p>If you refuse delivery or fail to collect a parcel, it will be returned to us. Once we receive it back, we'll issue a refund minus the outbound shipping cost (as we've already paid this).</p>
<h2>13. Bulk & Wholesale Returns</h2>
<p>Bulk orders and wholesale returns follow modified terms:</p>

<li>Standard 30-day window applies</li>
<li>Minimum order thresholds may apply (contact wholesale@megacaps.co.uk)</li>
<li>Return shipping for bulk orders may involve different carriers</li>

<h2>14. Missing Items</h2>
<p>If your order arrived incomplete:</p>

<p>If the carrier (Royal Mail, DHL, etc.) delivers a damaged package:</p>

<li>Once resolved, you'll receive a replacement or refund</li>

<p><strong>Can I return without a reason?</strong><br>
Yes, as long as the cap is unworn and in original packaging.</p>
<p><strong>What if the size is wrong but I've tried it on?</strong><br>
If you've worn the cap (even briefly), it doesn't qualify as "unworn" and cannot be returned for a refund. However, contact us — we may be able to work out an exchange in some cases.</p>
<p><strong>What if I lose the tracking receipt for my return?</strong><br>
You can track your return using your original order number. Contact us and we'll help you locate it.</p>
<p><strong>Do you accept international returns?</strong><br>
Yes, but prepaid labels are for UK returns only. International returns require you to cover shipping costs first, then you can request reimbursement. Email returns@megacaps.co.uk for international return addresses.</p>
<p><strong>What if a refund never arrives?</strong><br>
This is rare, but contact your bank first to confirm the refund didn't go to a different account. Then email us with the refund tracking ID from your bank, and we'll investigate.</p>
