ShorTeX pretty much always clashes with venue-specific class/styles. Per feedback from a few users, this is probably the biggest blocker to people using shortex. I think it would be wise to split out some of the "including packages to reduce boilerplate" into another repo / style file, and keep shortex minimal. Maybe even better would be to have minimal package inclusion be the default, and then give an option to include all common useful packages. Obviously we'll have to include some packages in shortex for internal use, but things like hyperref etc often cause problems and so are probably better off left to be included manually in general.
