error when opening anki and randomly when reviewing

Anki/OS versions

Anki 2.1.49 (dc80804a) Python 3.8.6 Qt 5.14.2 PyQt 5.14.2
Platform: Windows 10
Flags: frz=True ao=True sv=3
Add-ons, last update check: 2021-12-21 20:33:00

Additional context

not sure if this is related but occasionally while reviewing the card with show the hidden closed deletion [...] when you're looking at the answer (and the answer buttons are available). I just sync and it resets the card and I can answer again and the close deletion will work. but it may be totally unrelated.

additionally, after changing the configuration to false, I cannot get the bar to go away on android
