The vanilla auto-balancing thrusters have a few issues
- doesn't account for thrust penalty or thrust vectoring
- struggles with changing construct rotation
- often introduces unwanted behaviour like constantly flying in the direction of unbalanced mass
- cannot prioritize critical control (eg altitude) and often struggles with imbalanced thrust
- difficult to see when a construct does/doesn't have enough thrust to keep altitude, reach a certain speed, turn at a certain rate etc
- tedious and/or complicated to manage manual vs automatic thrusters
As a user, I would like to have better and more streamlined control of how my construct manages thrust, and easier visibility into my construct's thrust requirements. Ideally, this would include both fixes for vanilla auto-balancing and the ability to control the finer details with a script.
