How do I change the icon theme?

The icon theme isn't controlled by Kvantum. Kvantum sets the Qt widget style.

If you use LXQt or KDE, they have GUIs for setting the icon theme globally. If not, you need a Qt platform plugin like qt6ct for setting the icon theme of Qt6 apps.

But if you mean the icons of Kvantum Manager, they're hard-coded and can't be changed.

Yes, they have very different jobs. I explain it shortly:

A Qt platform plugin can determine the icon theme and font used by Qt apps, as well as the Qt widget style (Fusion, Kvantum, Breeze,…) that styles them. It can do more, but these are its basic jobs. A good platform plugin usually provides the user with appropriate GUI tools for setting icon, font and widget style in Qt apps.

LXQt and KDE come with their advanced platform plugins, but other DEs may lack one. qt6ct is only for those DEs that don't have a Qt platform plugin.
