Terms of Service

Last updated: September 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website
www.typednotes.com and the Typednotes application at
app.typednotes.com (together, the “Service”), operated by
Typednotes (“Typednotes”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you
agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree to them on its behalf and
confirm that you are authorized to do so.

1. The Service

Typednotes is a server-side agent that acts on resources on behalf of its users, with bounded, auditable
authority. You can create organizations and projects, connect third-party services (code hosts, storage, AI
providers and messaging platforms) and let the agent act on them at your direction. The Service is evolving:
features may be added, changed or removed.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a GitHub or Google account. You must provide accurate information and keep your identity
provider account secure.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and in the organizations you administer.

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.

Tell us promptly at contact@typednotes.com if you suspect
unauthorized use of your account.

3. Connected services and the authority you grant

When you connect a third-party service, you authorize Typednotes to use the credentials you provide to access
that service and perform the actions you, or members of your organization, request — within the permissions you
granted.

Your use of third-party services remains subject to their own terms and policies, which you are responsible
for complying with. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability or their content.

You can disconnect a service or revoke its access at any time.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you submit to or make available through the Service, including repository
contents, files and messages (“Your Content”). You grant Typednotes a worldwide, non-exclusive,
royalty-free license to host, copy, process and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to
you. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant this license and to let the Service act on Your Content.

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. AI output and automated actions

The Service uses AI models, through the AI provider accounts you connect, to produce output and take actions.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate: review it before relying on it.

You decide which services the agent can access and what it may do. You are responsible for the actions
performed in your projects under the configuration and instructions you or your organization provide.

Actions are recorded so they can be audited.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or that infringes the rights of others;

send spam or unsolicited messages through connected messaging platforms;

access or act on accounts, systems or data you are not authorized to use;

upload malware, or probe, scan or attack the Service or any other system;

circumvent usage limits, credits, security measures or access controls;

overload or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;

use the Service in violation of the terms of any connected third-party service.

7. Credits and fees

Using the Service consumes credits. New organizations may receive free welcome credits.

Credits have no cash value, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for money, unless the law requires
otherwise.

Any paid plan or credit purchase will be presented, with its price, before you buy it.

Charges from third-party providers you connect (for example your AI provider) are billed by them, under your
account with them.

8. Open source

Typednotes’ source code is published on GitHub. Your
use of that code is governed by its license; these Terms govern the hosted Service.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or
error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service, with reasonable notice when
practical.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if
you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or its users. Upon termination, your right
to use the Service ends and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature
should survive termination (including 4, 11, 12 and 13) survive.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without
warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular
purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Typednotes will not be liable for any indirect, incidental,
special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Typednotes’
total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the
twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable
law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Typednotes against claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising
from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of third-party terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you
through the Service or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take
effect means you accept them.

15. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Typednotes about the
Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failing to enforce a provision is not a
waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them in connection with a merger,
acquisition or sale of assets.

16. Contact
