Application not starting: firefox

Setup: Bionic on HP 2-in-1, side-by-side with normal ubuntu-flavoured gnome

Action: login to unity8, open firefox (through terminal).

Expected result: firefox opening

Real result: error stating "cannot open display: :0"

Firefox in question is the default version that comes with Bionic Beaver

i think it needs Xwayland to work, but it's not ready yet canonical/mir#352
